I'm Angela, very much an amateur photographer. I enjoy taking photos for fun and always have a passion for clicking away even if it was with my cell phone time-to-time.

With many life challenges, I took a sabbatical leave between everything else's going on in my life. I recently reinstated my membership with Betterphoto.com, late 2020, where now I can rekindle my passion, focusing (Life through the lens) on taking photographs.

My entry into the photography world began in May 2005 when my son bought me a point-and-shoot "Kodak Easy Share" camera for Mother's Day. He thought I would enjoy taking pictures. Little did he know that he had started me on a journey of self-expression and communication.

It was the beginning of many weekend outings, venturing to botanical gardens, historical landmarks, tourist attractions, enjoying the sights, and capturing them. My passion is not limited to one area; I enjoy photographing people, flowers, landscapes, wildlife, architecture, everything!

I also have a creative side wanting to take 'some' of my photos to another artistic expression level. However, I am always learning either self-taught or taking courses offered here on BetterPhoto or other means. The more I read, the more I realize there's so much to learn. I also enjoy engaging with like-minded photographer enthusiasts.
